DAY 02 MADRID-SEGOVIA-MADRID (180 kilometres round trip, part of it a free motorway and part a toll motorway)
Buffet breakfast. Collect your self drive dar in the office close to the hotel. You can drive today to see Segovia, another of Spain´s World Heritage Cities, where you will see its Roman aqueduct, the Cathedral, the Alcazar and the Old Jewish Quarters. Return to Madrid for accommodation.
DAY 03 MADRID-ALCALA DE HENARES (35 kilometres on a free motorway)
Buffet breakfast. Depart along motorway A-2 towards Alcala de Henares. Park your car and walk to see this Celtiberian and Roman City with its Cathedral of children Saints Justo and Pastor, the University, Cervantes House, Mayor Street, the Jesuits College of St. Bernard and more. Accommodation.
DAY 04 ALCALA DE HENARES-CUENCA (165 kilometres, part on a good road, part on a free motorway)
Buffet breakfast. Morning departure towards the Region of Castile-La Mancha, arriving in Cuenca. Again the best way to see the second World Heritage City of our itinerary is to park the car and walk. From your hotel cross the pedestrian bridge towards Plaza Mayor to see the interesting Cathedral, built in gothic-normand style by Leonor of Plantagenet, sister of King Richard III "Lion Heart", who was married to the Spanisk Monarch and see the "Hanging Houses", perched on the rock, continue to see the Torre Mangana, the Convent of the Sisters of the Carmel...... and more. Accommodation.
DAY 05 CUENCA-VALENCIA (200 kilometres, part on a good road, part on a free motorway)
Buffet breakfast. Drive Southeast and, leaving the Region of Castile-La Mancha you will enter into the lands of the Region of Valencia and arrive in its Capital City, the host to the America´s Cup 2007 and future host of a Formula 1 Gran Prix. However, there are important sies to see like the Museum or Arts and Sciences, the Oceanarium and the Old Town with its Lonja, Tower or Los Serranos, the Cathedral, el Miguelete, Plaza Redonda and the Old Market. DAY 06 VALENCIA-TARRAGONA (260 kilometres on a toll motorway)
Buffet breakfast. Morning drive towards the Northeast --perhaps you would like to stop at the medieval and modern city of Peniscola, with the Castle of the Luna Pope who defected the authority of the Roman Pope in the Middle Age-- or continue stright towards Tarragona, passing on the way by the delta of the Ebro River when it flows into the calmed Mediterranean see.
Visit the the first fortified city built by the Romans outside the metropoli. Tarragona became the capital of the Roman Province of Tarraconensis, with still very well preserved ruins of the Roman Theatre, its fortified wall, and the Arch. It was here where Emperor Augustus lived in years 26 & 27 BC. Accommodation.
DAY 07 TARRAGONA-BARCELONA (100 kilometres on a toll motorway)
Breakfast. Tarragona deserves another stroll before you resume your Spanish journey. After check out of your hotel at 12:00 hours, drive to Barcelona, capital city of the Region of Catalonia. Accommodation.
DAY 08 BARCELONA
Buffet breakfast and accommodation. You should leave your car parked today and walk or use the very good public transportation. Walk down the Ramblas to visit the "Boqueria Food Market" (¡¡a must!!), continue your walk to Plaza Real and then to see the Generalitat Palace and the City Hall Square (one in front of the other). Then proceed to the Ramblas again and walk down towards the sea to admire Christopher Columbus Monument, the olympic port, the Old Atarazanas (old shipyard).
In the afternoon you can go up to Passeig de Gracia and admire Gaudi´s Casa Mila and Casa Batllo, and then to also see Gaudi´s unfinished masterpiece "Holy Family Basilica" and on to Güell Park, also another of Gaudi´s works. Accommodation.
Depending on your wishes, you can drive your car to visit the Montserrat Monastery in the province of Barcelona (45 kilometres from city centre)
DAY 09 BARCELONA-IBIZA (BY AIR, ¡¡ TICKET NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE !!)
Buffet breakfast. Check out at maximum 12:00 hours noon time. Drive to the airport to return your car and board short flight to Ibiza. Upon arrival transfer to the hotel in the city centre. Balance of the day at leisure. Accomodation
DAY 10 IBIZA
Buffet breakfast and accommodation. Visit this charming city by the Mediterranean Sea, with vestiges of the different civilizations that were in the city in the past centuries: from its foundation in year 654 BC, then the Punics, Muslims and th progress they got after the conquest of the Island by King Jaime I in year 1235. Afterwards King Philip II, the old walls were replaced by a fortification, making it one of its relevant sites, and within this you can see the Cathedral and the Castle-Almudayna.

DAY 11 IBIZA
Buffet breakfast. Check out at maximum 12:00 hours noon time. Transfer to the airport to board your return flight.
